In today’s day and age with the divorce rate hovering around 50% for first marriages and 63% for second marriages, there are many “blended” families being created.  Unfortunately when we think or speak of “step parents” especially “step moms” it conjures up feelings and images of negativity.  Well, it isn’t always so!  Here is a perfect example of Co-Parenting which works! “My husband and I each have two kids from our previous marriages. My children live with us full time, and my step-children go back and forth every other week to their Mom’s, unless something comes up, then we rearrange a little. Their mom lives a mile away so it’s easy to stay flexible.
