Deeply Know Loving

There are many faces to “love.” However, we rarely speak of the kind of love that actually defines the person.

How can we recognize that kind of love – the love that penetrates ones very being? The root of true compassion is pure love. Loving and respecting yourself and life, is the root of gratitude.

Many do not recognize it in the people who live it. It is not trusted. They make fun of it. They cannot believe that someone can truly love without hate, anger, self-sacrifice without hidden motives; That there are those who live in a state of loving.

The love I speak of is the love that permeates a human being from your very core. I believe it is a result of knowing yourself. This is not from defining yourself. It is sitting with someone wise who can help you go deep and help make transparent to you, the wounds of your life.

It is then that you will understand clearly how those wounds, those negative messages, have misled your development, your inner self, your vision of the world. A wise and loving healer will free you to know the gift of loving. It was Socrates, the philosopher, who was known to have said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.”

The chance to hear the music of life which surrounds you, and through that lens you will feel the richness of each moment. You will see the sadness in the eyes of another, and you will understand that you cannot always understand. You hear the underlying anger in their voices, and you realize you cannot know all the pain pushed down and accumulated, in their lives. That is when you will lay down your judgment, and offer them kindness.

When we love, it comes from the depths of compassion, for ourselves and everyone else.Waking up every day, grateful for waking up. Feeling and enjoying the comfort of the bed that held you through your sleep. Your heart is open to what is, and you find ways to make it all work for you, no matter what.

And you send out love even to the ones who have hurt you. They do not understand themselves, and do not even like themselves.

Living conscious of each moment, and breathing deeply into your heart, you will find richness everywhere. You will open yourself to joy and easily speak, and live your truth. It is a magical experience to feel and see life through loving.
