How to Be Grateful~A Thanksgiving Message

If you just look at your FaceBook page you’ll see everyone trying to live a more grateful life.  Individuals will make a commitment to post for 5 or 30 days something that they are truly grateful for in their lives.  Does this help them to live a more grateful life which is what we believe the intent of the exercise is?  Or does it simply bring awareness to living a more grateful life.

In honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday, we thought it would be great to have Contributor,Author and Psychologist Dr. Dan Gottlieb, give us helpful tips on how we can all really live a more grateful life. He also answers the questions of what being grateful truly means and how it can benefit us, those who are grateful.

Here at we are grateful to everyone who makes up our community, you the members, our Contributors who provide such valuable information and to our staff for making this all possible.

Dr. Dan Gottlieb has been practicing psychology since 1969.Since 1985, Daniel Gottlieb has been hosting “Voices in the Family,” an award-winning mental health call-in radio show aired on WHYY 90.9 FM, Philadelphia’s local public radio station. He has also previously published a total of four books. His most recent, “The Wisdom of Sam: Observations on Life from an Uncommon Child,”. In it, Dan tells of some of the remarkable insights shared by his grandson Sam who is on the autism spectrum. All of his royalties are donated to children’s charities.
