Is Tolerance the Same as Acceptance?

We only need to look to the news these days to quickly realize that we are living in a world with very little tolerance.  Many people interchange the word tolerance and acceptance. Do these two words have the same meaning? Today’s discussion with Contributor & Author, Dr. Dan Gottlieb turns to this topic.

Dr. Dan personally does not like the word tolerance. He believes that we must all learn to accept and the first person we must learn to accept is ourselves.   Learn how through opening our heart we can learn to love and through love we will accept.

Imagine if we lived in a world where everyone was love and accepted.  How beautiful would the world be?
