It is believed that many marriages end in divorce because of financial issues especially in today’s times but as Dr. Gottlieb notes, financial issues often becomes the excuse when there were other underlying issues that already existed in the marriage. As Dr. Gottlieb noted, “money is never about money”. “Money can be about trust or the illusion that if we had enough we would be secure”.
Then the question becomes, how much is enough? What kind of security does money give us? Is it internal security, external or both? Does money really give us power?
