Most all parents are proud of their children, but when they have a special need like Asperger’s it becomes even a prouder moment when they do extraordinary things. Our Expert Contributor, Debbie Schmidt of Just2Moms was asked by our community to post the video of her son in a high school talent show. Since we love to tell inspiring stories we thought it was a great idea for today’s blog post. Here is Debbie’s own intro to this video.
“This Mr. East comedy act on YouTube is one of those “Top 10″ moments in my son, Jordan’s, life (even though there have been far more than 10 already).
Three things that are key about this: One, is that Jordan had to be voted in from his senior class peers to be one of ten contestants competing, and two, he has Asperger’s Syndrome. The third is that Jordan has never ceased to amaze my husband and I! See for yourself and enjoy!”
Jordan is extraordinary!!!!!!! He is so funny, so natural, so amazing, but then again, he has amazing parents!!!!! Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
