by Just2Moms~Do you have a special needs child?  Are you blaming yourself for their disability?  According to FamilyAffaires.com Expert Contributors & Co Founders of Just2Moms, Christy Carlson & Debbie Schmidt explain how this is very common.  They also share their own personal stories of when their children were diagnosed.

Debbie explains the process as a morning period and similar to Kubler-Ross’ stages of grief, parents of special needs must go through a process. Both Debbie & Christy believe that it’s not productive to play the blame game for too long because doing so actually deprives your child of more productive activities you could be engaged in that will help them.
