Are Finances Killing Your Relationship?


The majority of divorces are caused by finances.  Money means different things to different people.  Since finances effect relationships in so many different ways it’s very important to understand what money and the attainment of money means to your loved ones. Contributor, Dr. Dan Gottlieb sits down with Community Advocate, Roseann Vanella to discuss this topic.  Dr. Gottlieb explains that couples entering in a committed relationship should have many discussions, one being on what money represents for each person.  Money may mean security to one person or power to another.

Dr. Gottlieb’s conclusion offers great advice. Once we understand what money signifies to our partners or spouses, then we can understand where they are coming from and weather any storm that may come up in the relationship.  As always, Dr. Gottlieb offers sound advice in a very practical way.
