Wow. another great interview with many pearls of wisdom. I love the concept of “learned helpfulness” it reminds me of the concept of mindfulness. Everything he shared is at the core of the therapeutic relationship in psychotherapy…even with all the techniques and modalities. At the core, is care and the instillation of hope. Beautiful. I need to get his book!
