Video:Special Need Kids Have Super Powers Too!

Autism Video

by Just2Moms~When people think of our special need kids, they think of all of the things they can’t do. Instead, special needs kids usually have amazing super powers that many of us don’t have! Expert Contributors & Co Founders of Just2Moms, Christy Carlson & Debbie Schmidt talk about their own super powers and the super powers that they discovered each of their special needs children had from a very young age. These super powers were able to set their kids apart from other kids but yet help them to fit in and make them feel special in their own way.

Whether it’s remembering special dates, having a photographic memory, being artistic or any other special power, Christy & Debbie advise us to encourage our kids to develop these skills and it will not only make them feel special but it will also bring them a sense of calmness that they otherwise would not have.

Here at, we are so fortunate to come in to contact everyday by so many wonderful individuals and while posting this blog a special person came to mind, Alex Hale who is Autistic  and sings of living with autism. You can watch alex on this video.  Also there is a wonderful FaceBook page called Artists and Autism that features works of art by individuals with Autism.  All of our super powers need to be celebrated everyday!!

We would appreciate you heading over to our Facebook page and giving us a LIKE!!  Thank you!!
